The Islamophobia Response Unit (IRU) is an independent charity that provides legal support for people affected by Islamophobic incidents, including anti-Muslim hate crime, in England and Wales.
Our purpose is to provide legal guidance and relevant support, and to provide other help suited to each client’s needs, starting with confidentially reporting their experiences of Islamophobia.
Many of the victims of Islamophobia are unable to afford legal assistance and therefore many cases go unreported. Visit our website to read more about our work.
